Plain Language Summary of Financial Assistance Policy
The Patient Assistance Program provides medications (like asthma-albuterol and insulin) for patients from pharmaceutical companies that meet the eligibility criteria at free or discounted rates. The criteria is based upon the pharmaceutical company and they will ask for certain documentation to determine eligibility, which could take up to three weeks. A program with similar eligibility criteria, Rx Outreach, is a low-income alternative for medications that are not available through the regular pharmaceutical companies. They are relatively inexpensive and are usually for 3- 6 months depending on the medication. If you have questions, please do not hesitate to call the clinic at (406) 323-3337 ext. 4906.
