Our recently remodeled acute care unit offers comprehensive medical care delivered by our skilled medical team of Physicians, Physician Assistants, Nurse Practitioners, Registered Nurses, and other highly trained staff. We offer quiet semi-private and private rooms furnished with state of the art medical equipment. Our services include cardiac care, wound care, short-term rehabilitation, IV Therapy, and Hospice. Our low patient to staff ratios allows for complete, compassionate, personalized care.
We also offer outpatient services that allow patients to remain in their own homes and still manage their medical needs by coming in to Roundup Memorial Healthcare’s Outpatient Services for the care they need. Services include:
- IV Therapy including Antibiotic Therapy and Factor Infusions available in our new relaxing and quiet infusion room
- Complete Wound Care including Wound Vacs
- Blood Transfusions
- PICC Line, Porta-Cath Flushes and lab draws
- Colostomy/Catheter Care
- Blood Pressure Checks
Our 4-bed Emergency Department is staffed with a Registered Nurse and a Certified Nurse Assistant 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Our Medical Staff is on call 24 hours a day, 7 days per week. Roundup Memorial is certified as a level 4 trauma center. We deliver 24 hour Emergency and Trauma Care to the residents of Musselshell County and surrounding areas. Roundup Memorial Healthcare works closely with both trauma centers in Billings, Montana to provide the highest level of care for our patients.
We take pride in our compassionate medical care with drastically shorter wait times than the larger hospitals. Our Registered Nurses are all ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certified, and also have training in PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) and TNCC (Trauma Nurse Core Curriculum).

- Medical Imaging including Ultrasound, EKG, X-Ray, and a brand new CT Scan
- A large menu of Laboratory Diagnostics
- Referrals to specialized physicians including cardiologists, orthopedic surgeons, neurosurgeons, and other areas of specialty.
- Ground Ambulance Transportation via Musselshell County Ambulance
- Air Ambulance and Helicopter Transport if warranted for a higher level of care
Specialized beds that allow a patient to return to their community for skilled physical therapy or nursing management following surgery, stroke, or reconditioning following a lengthy illness. Skilled patients may require wound care, IV administration, medication management, or complex education. We encourage family involvement to assist in the transition from hospital to home.
Roundup Memorial Healthcare utilizes and interdisciplinary team approach in the care of its patients/residents. The team works together to identify each individual patient/resident's needs and plan appropriate interventions to maximize optimal functioning and quality of life. Patients/residents and families are encouraged to communicate with their providers and ask questions. The medical and nursing staff are available and happy to assist patients/residents and families with understanding issues related to care and treatment. The team consists of:

Transitional Care is for patients who are ready to be discharged from a traditional acute-care hospital but aren’t quite ready to go home. These patients still require additional skilled medical care, nursing care, or rehabilitation services.

Long Term Care
Roundup Memorial Healthcare is able to offer it’s patients specialized nursing care in the form of intermediate care (long-term care) and hospice care.
Specialty Care & Hospice: Roundup Memorial Healthcare works with Stillwater, Compassus, and Riverstone to assist in pain management, or attend to end of life needs. Like hospice, we address the physical, emotional, spiritual, and social needs of the patient and the family. Some patients that do not qualify for hospice admission or choose not to elect to hospice care are still encouraged to use our services if it assists them in their end of life transition.
Intermediate Care:Roundup Memorial Healthcare is fulfilling our commitment to the community by provided Intermediate Long Term Care to members of our community. Our Intermediate Care Residents are cared for by Physician’s, Nurse Practitioners, Physician Assistants, RN’s, LPN’s, Certified Nurses Assistants, as well as other highly trained ancillary staff. Roundup Memorial Healthcare offers the perfect alternative for someone needing some assistance with daily living. Our one level design offers a family like environment that includes a Dining Program that allows residents to choose their meals from a selective menu. We also have a registered dietitian available for consultation. An open courtyard provides residents an opportunity to enjoy the seasons in a safe surrounding and is especially nice for hosting family barbecues and other outdoor events. We offer two double occupancy rooms in the event that a couple would preside at RMH. Our private rooms are designed in a studio style suite to include its own bathroom and bedroom/living area that ensures dignity and is worthy of a place to call home. We encourage our residents and families to personalize their living area with items from home. The small setting of our facility provides the right amount of personal attention while creating an environment of independence.
